WE THINK OUR 3 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER PULLED KITTY'S TAIL. KITTY'S TAIL IS LIMP AND SHE CRIED WHEN I TOUCH/PET HER LOWER BACK/BEGINNING OF TAIL. HELP, WHAT DO WE DO??? SHE IS UNCOMFORTABLE, ANABLE TO WALK WITH EASE.

It sounds like "tail jerk" syndrome, which happens in such cases,and results in trauma. The vertebrae come away from the tail and sometimes both or one rear leg(s) is affected. Needs to see vet pronto. Best wishes now.

Thanks so much for the replies! I took the kitty to the vet the next day and luckily she is just fine. The kitten is only 8 weeks old, and when her tail got pulled it caused her to be VERY sore, but no vetebrae's were hurt! Now I'm just working on keeping out Toddler and Kitten separated/monitored closely. Thanks again for your concern
