My horse's right eye has been watering for a couple of weeks now. I called the vet and he said to flush it with saline and use visine. I did that and it didn't help so a riding instructor gave me some salve for his eye. That hasn't helped either. Does anyone have any ideas? IP: Logged |

Is it real dusty around your horses area? or has it been windy latley..alot of times that is reason for watery eyes. is it watery or goopy looking?I would have flushed with saline ...maybe do it for a wk or so..could have gotten hay or dust in eye and scratched it a bit which will cause the eye to water...which will take a few days to heal ------------------ IP: Logged |

At almost any equine store, they have eye wash. Try that too!Is there a lot of flys where you live because it could be fly eggs? Good luck!!! Casey ------------------ IP: Logged |
