Clean the stall impecably, and try putting some red pepper on the manured areas. Occasionally, they do nibble to get the grain back, or hay pieces, but they need to go out of that stall, get fed the right amount and food for weight and activity level, and teeth floated, and fresh water. Seeing you have at least 2 horses eating their feces, are they foals?? There is a habit/disease called corprophagia, but it's harmless if they're wormed regularly, and possibly they may grow out of it. Best wishes.

thanx for the options. My horses are not foals and they go outside regulary. The other day i noticed it when they weer outside. They just started chomping downon the balls of feces like nothing. Maybe it is because they are due like right now for worming but it has never occured before. thank you

If you worm regularly, every 6 weeks to 8 weeks, they are fine, also rotate your pasture. Worms/eggs in feces die in the sun in about 30 days time, and so the pasture should be rotated every month, cleaned up if a really small pasture. On average, 3 acres per horse is fine. But needing worming is NOT causing them to eat their manure. Best wishes.
