My horse got cut last year on a barbed wire fence. It was not a deep cut. It was on the front of the back- left hock. It is completly healed but there is a considerable amount of scare tissue there. I don't know if it affects his movement or not. I was wondering if anyone has heard of a supplement good for artritis in the hock or anything related to the hock.
I would also like any advice on getting my horse back to riding condition. Right now I lounge him three times a week and ride him once. I am only troting because he fel with me twice within the same month when we were transitioning down from the canter.
If you know anything, it would be helpful.
Thank-you.
