This doesn't mean I support terrorism. I don't ok. I see it like this: A small number of people from those areas are involved in terrorism, how can you condemn them all for the crimes of the few? Just like pitbulls, you spend alot of time defending these dogs, not all are bad, only a few rotten apples. So how can the whole damn world see them as a dangerous dog? The answer is the media, close mindedness and ignorance. Not everyone from the middle east is a terrorist. I am more terrified of some tyrant like Bush, pushing the big red button and our whole world going up in smoke, than an airplane crashing into my house or my office building. There is a big reason why these people have such a hatred of American politics. They didn't just spin a bottle and choose who to terrorize. It is only going to get worse and alot more people will be dieing, Americans and Iraq. Thats all I wanted to say to you. IP: Logged

Hi Princess, I hope you can forgive and forget sometime in the future, I know it takes time to overcome something traumatic like this. It is a heavy burden. I once felt this way about a certain race/culture also, but it has healed over and been forgotten for awhile now. Thanks for understanding my views. Glad you didn't leave this forum!!!! Everyone here has their opinions and views and everyone makes a difference. Where I live, its a buyers market for real estate. All the immigrants that are immigrating here are all quite wealthy. They are buying up alot of the land and houses and developing it all into brand new malls Condominiums and parks etc. Honestly, it's quite nice. The standard of living has raised, the rent prices have decreased. They are not Iraqis or Iranians tho. I don't know any personally. Only about 1 1/2 hours away from where the plane went down that everyone forgot about. I was all for them going after Bin Laden. That war I would have been in support of. But then they started on Saddam and it seems to me that they have forgotten all about Bin Laden who masterminded 4 planes to be highjacked and flown into different important buildings of ours. I dont think Saddam is a good guy by any means but why didnt we finish what we started with Bin Laden. In my eyes all I see is Bush using our anger to his advantage and making us see that the reason we are going after Saddam is because he is an immdediate threat which he wasnt Bin Laden was. He is the one we should have been going after. Personally I think Bush is just finishing what his daddy started. He had the opportunity to do it so he took it and used USAs anger to edge him on and get support. I am nor for this war at all. Too many people believe everthing they hear on the news and dont think that we have propoganda too. We do. And we are getting lots of it now. Some of you are right when you say they show things to keep us patriotic. That is totally true. I am patriotic and 100% American but Bush is not doing this to defend our country he is not going after the mastermind himself who flew planes into the twin towers, the pentagon, and hijacked the other plane that the passengers drove into the ground knowing what was going to happen to them if they didnt. It infuriates me that we havent gone after the person who flat out admitted he did it. We did and then all of a sudden we went after Saddam and let Bin Laden go free what kind of sense does that make. IP: Logged

We have been listening to the point of views from Canada, USA, China, Italy and the Iraqi people. You are listening ONLY to the USA; therefore, you are the one who is closed minded, not I. I have been buzzing over this board, people need to be educated, especially about dogs. On this subject my main concern in that those innocent people who live in Iraq will be helped. From what I can see the USA is going in and doig that as best they can to help the Iraq people gain control of their lives and land. From what I have heard they are being decent about what will happen after they get him. They plan on helping the Iraq people impose a government body that will be run by the Iraq people...I sure hope this is the truth as then the USA will earn my respect and then Bush will be proving his intentions...we'll just have to wait and see. My heart lies in the middle, I am for the war, but at the same time feel it was started for the wrong reasons. The people in Iraq needed someone to go in and distroy their leader, but at the cost of innocent lives that is wrong. I think you need to close your empty gap...and I am sooooooooooooo glad you aint over there fighting in this war cause I'm pretty sure you'd be killing those innocent women and children then lauph about it....it is people like you that make me sick to my stomach and confuse me as to how people in this day and age can be so darn ignorant and stuck in their closed minded load of crap. Just leave one big a hole and make it some sort of tourist attraction like the grand canyon. I also think they should gather all these anti war pricks and toss them in there before the bombs hit. Ive heard people say "what about all the women and children over there" and we should not bomb them because there is inocent people over there. Well I say B* Me. Who the hell was worried about all our inocent people when the trade center fell. It sure as hell wasnt those camel jockeys, they was over there singing and danceing while all hell had broke lose over here.
