My dwarf Gourami has killed its second fish! Yesterday I brought home a male balloon mollie and last night he was killed by another fish. My gourami has done this before to a balloon mollie. I don't know what to do! I have moved the gourami to a seperate 3 gallon tank until I can find a solution. Why would my Gourami become aggresive and will I have to get rid of him? Please help! I will very much appreciate it! Thanks!

what kind of gourami is it? a male gold by any chance?
I have found that gouramis do better with a friend.. if it's a girl/boy, she keeps the male somewhat more passive. boy/boy they are so busy chasing after each other they don't mess with other fish that much. actually, I've found all my gouramis to be pretty darn peaceful except for one gold male : P
good luck and maybe get your gourami a friend.
