I have had an very mean african cichlid living in my ten gal. tank for about a year. I recently found out that she is a Melanochromis Auratus, about 2 1/2" long, the fish store told me that is the meanest cichlid you can get. I bought it at Walmart without even knowing it was aggressive(Why me?) Unfortunately, they told me this after the cichlid decimated my tank which is why she is now in the ten gallon. I would like to get a small green terror and was wondering if the two would get along if they had a bigger home, or are the two species not compatible? I definitely don't want the cichlid to die, strangely enough I have gone from hating this fish to loving it. Thanks for any help. IP: Logged |
