I just got my Betta about 3 days ago. I noticed he will swim a while then rest down on the rocks for a while. He takes a lot of breaks. Is this normal? He seems to be eating fine. I feed him Betta Bites twice a day, about 16 specs total. I keep the house about 72 degrees is this too cold. He is in about 60 ounces of water in a glass bowl that used to be a coffee pot. Bowl sits on my desk 4 ft from the window where he gets sun during the day. let me know if this is normal for him to take breaks on the rocks.

Thanx

It sounds like he may be getting too much to eat! I only feed my 4-8 pellets every other day, they used to get 3-4 pellets a day, but there were too many for me to do that every night! That may be why he is taking so much breaks, too much food!
