Hello...I was the one with all the problems with my tank and my one Betta fish..After all that I just decided to get him a 2 gallon tank with plenty of plants and a lid and he is happy and making bubbles everywhere... but..I also decided to start to put aquarium salt and it says to add one tblsp to every five gallons..Im not sure how much to put in his 2 gallon tank...How do I measure that out.. Also thanks for all the info on his tank and now he is in a bigger tank and I know its only one fish but he is happy and swimming every where...Thanks!!

I generally run 1 tablespoon per 10 gallons. This gives the fish the electrolytes and other protective properties that they need in the water with less problems regarding algae. Measurements 3 teaspoons = 1 tablespoon. For a 2 gallon tank use anywhere from 1/2 to a full TEASPOON.
