hello everyone.

Since my fish died AGAIN, hopefully next saturday i'll clean the tank and restart. since i'm starting again, i would like to do sand, real sand collected from d beach and washed instead of gravel. I have a small aquarium, if u can call it aquarium of 15 gal, i know its not good for begginers but i dont have space for something bigger. Would that afect fish since they will not b marine. And how long should i wait for d maturation, and do u know of any products that REALLY speed up the aging time.i have a sample of start right by jungle , will it b good? And what fish can i put in that space, my ph is 7.5, and temperature not less than 26, but gets higher in summer.

thank u guys.

You could go with sand if you want to but just keep in mind it's messy. I wouldn't reccomend any of those bacteria in a bottle "wander starters". Buy one black mollie to cycle the tank. After it's cycled add maybe some tetras or dwarf cichlids. If you go with tetras get at least 6 to keep them happy. a coulpe of weeks later you might want to add a bristlenose for clean up.
If your ambient temp. varies you need a heater to keep the temp. stable in the tank.
