Hi! In my 30 gal. I have my little goldfish, live plants, 3 dwarf frogs, snails and clams. Is products with iron safe to use? I've noticed that the plant food all seem to contain iron. Thanks in advance. IP: Logged |

Definately not. You shouldn't have any metals inside the tank. They can and do become toxic. Copper is sometimes used because of it's toxicity to kill parasites, but when using it you must monitor the levels closely to keep it from killing your fish. IP: Logged |

No way it can give you can poision your fish.So its best to remove the plants and replace them with fake ones that don't need food. IP: Logged |
