I was just wondering how long it takes for a red bellied piranha to get fully grown and will it get fully grown in a thirty gallon tank? And also, can you put snails in with a piranha? thanks. IP: Logged |

i have 3 RbP's but dont kno how long it will take them 2 grow b/c every fish is different, just like humans. How-ever, i have had good expierience with adding snails into my tank of pirahnas. i would suggest a cheaper kind like any type of apple snail over sumthing a bit more pricy just as a precaution, b/c like i said.....every fish is different IP: Logged |

I would think that it might take longer than normal because a thirty gal. is not that large. I've never kept any my self but I'm not sure if they would even reach their full size in a 30. Seems to me it would be kinda cramped. ------------------ IP: Logged |
