I have just purchased a new kissing gourami as sadly one of ours died....lady in pet shop said they are much better in pairs and the fact that new one is half the size of existing one shouldn't matter. Have only had it 24hrs and poor thing has been chased and harrassed non-stop by existing one!! Any ideas or comments really appreciated. I've floated new one in plastic bag for now and seems much happier. Can u slowly introduce fish to new community or should I just take it back? None of other fish have bothered it. Cheers.
