Can anyone help please ? I have a large corner fish tank, which has been up and running for over 2 years. I have four discus, 5 pengiuns, 2 corydoras and a clown plec. I do regular water changes and the temperature is at 75f. My fish are breathing very fast, like a dog panting, but they are not gasping at the surface - does anyone have any suggestions as to why this is. They are all physically well and feeding fine. Thanks in advance. Rachel IP: Logged |

Even though you are doing regular water changes it is possible for your tank to get out of balance. If you don't have the test kits for ammonia, nitrite and nitrate, take a water sample to your local pet shop and ask them to test the water for you. Your water is your most likely problem.
