I am new to african cichlids and tried to get only males, but apparently I got a male and female red zebra pair. They have chosen their cave.. now my question is.. what the heck do I do with the babies if there are any? I have some quite large ciclids in the tank and don't want the bambinos to become fish food! I am thrilled at these turn of events though!

If you want to keep them first thing I would do is see if you can get rid of the offspring. Check your LFS maybe a mom and pop type store and you may be able to sell them on a regular basis. you woud have to buy a seperate grow out tank to get them to selling size. If not I would recomend splitting up the pair because chances are they will keep it up. Without the seperate tank you'll probably end up with alot of dead fry. Without the "outlet" to sell the offsping you'll end up with more fish than you can handle.
