Thanks everyone. I'm still waiting for my tank to finish cycling. I've been browsing for fish to see what I like. I saw the Rainbows today and really liked them. I also like Clown Loaches but I hear they get big. What do you reccommend with Rainbows that won't get huge?

If you like the Clown Loach, you might want to take a look at another fish in the loach family, Botia Lohachata. It's not as colorful as a clown but the black and white markings are interesting and they have a very interesting type movement. They are not timid at all. The one I have stays out all the time and isn't afraid of larger more agressive fish. They are slightly timid when they are young. They only get to about 10cm in size.

If you're worried about the size of the loaches, maybe consider a small school of cory cats? They are among my favorite fish. active, cute, and VERY peaceful. They are one of the few fish I've observed that never fights wtih anything or even amongst themselves. I have 3 skunk cories I am really enjoying. and cories are pretty inexpensive as well. Have fun deciding!

another thing about loaches, is that they like to hide a lot and I think most are nocturnal. so if you want to see your fish a lot, that is something to consider. plus they are schooling fish (not sure about all cases, but likely so). My cories are always frisking about!

Thanks! I'll consider that. My tank is halfway through it's cycle and I'll be looking to buy some fish in the next 2 weeks!
