Hello Dolphin 76, I change 20% of my water once a week. I siphon from the bottom of the tank to remove waste. The water I put into the tank is the same temperature as the tank water. I dose the tank with Amquel to remove chlorine/chloramine and with Novaqua to buffer the PH. I dose for a full tank with both of these. I also maintain aquarium salt in the tank at a rate of 1 tablespoon per 10 gallons of water. Don't feed your fish any more food than they will eat in 5 minutes. Hope this helps.
