Hello I was wondering I really want an oscar badly and I was thinking of putting it in my piranha tank the tank is 40 gallons and there are 4 piranhas int there what if I planned on getting a bigger oscar than the 4 piranhas? before I was able to keep some kind of ciclid I think aurats in the tank and the piranhas did not do anything to it at all but then I put it back in te other tank the piranhas are maybe 7 or 8 months old one younger please help IP: Logged |

Oscars get real big and need room.if you put them in a 40 gallon tank with 4 piranha which also get big they will have no room and will kill each other IP: Logged |

First, pay no attention to the icon. Just been dieing to use it since they put it up. Now, with regard to the Oscars and Piranhas; A 66 gallon is still too small for 4 full grown Piranhas not to mention an Oscar. IP: Logged |

i would put no more than 2 piranha in a 66 gal. tank or 2 oscar for that matter. you might want to pick different fish as a hobby cause these fish you have high maintenance. and you seem to be a novice at this. maybe you should research your fish before buying them. IP: Logged |
