Thanks everyone with help fr my sick Betta. He is doing better. I tried partial water changes in between complete changes and changed the enviroment a little by adding a little plant. Any tips on starting low maintenance tank (20 gallon) for my son? His first aquarium. IP: Logged |

Any fish will be fine, as long as you use the product "cycle" it does wonders for new tanks!! IP: Logged |

For a first tank (20 gallon)I would recommend starting with Mollies possibly Sailfin. After about 6 weeks the tank should be stable enough to add some Angelfish. IP: Logged |

For a first tank (20 gallon)I would recommend starting with Mollies possibly Sailfin. After about 6 weeks the tank should be stable enough to add some Angelfish. The main thing is to avoid getting fish that will get too large for your tank. Your local pet shop should be able to give you some assistance on that. IP: Logged |
