I have a year old comet goldfish who i just moved into a new 10 gal. tank. I noticed some scales on both sides missing and some blood in the tail. other than this there seems to be no other signs of disease. can someone please help?

also, i was wondering what kind and how many other fish would make good tankmates for my goldfish and my snail in my 10 gal.

Hey,
Just my opionon you can take it or leave it. I would not mix Angels and goldfish. Goldfish are a "dity" fish, nothing against them it's just they produce alot of waste. Angelfish require very clean specific water parameters. For example Angelfish are healthiest and happiest at 78 to 82 degree F while goldfish are better at a much cooler temp.Just one example there are many others. If you want your Angelfish to be healthy at the very least you would have to change water every week and overheat your goldfish.

If you really love your goldfish, you won't add anything to that tank. Goldfish get BIG, and soon enough, that 10 gallon will be too small for it, and you'll have nothing but cloudy water and ammonia smells. It sounds like he hurt himself, and you can try Melafix for the wounds.
