I recently purchased a pacu about 12 inches to be a tank mate to my 12-13 inch oscar. the tank is 55 gallons for now but i plan on purchasing a 300 gallon in the future. I put the pacu in on the advise of many others who said they would be buddies. no such luck! I put the Pacu in and the oscar went ape s***. I have put a divider inbetween them for now but would like to get any info on what to try to get them to like each other? The oscar has knocked off alot of scales and caused a pretty good sore behind the Pacu's eye. Are my efforts to make them friends useless? HELP !!!!

well the idea of a 300 is a very good idea since even the oscars need bigger that a 55 and pacus get huge theres a bit of advise and the might be fighting for space im not sure
