angels are not aggressive as people may think. i have a community with angels, fancy guppies, various tetras, a cory and a pleco. the angel did eat my baby guppies so jes get fish that wont fit in the angel's mouth. angels also work will with gouramis and discus (if u want to spend more).

I kept mine (I had one, you should get one angel or 3 or more but not two) with a large school of rasboras, several dwarf gouramis, a school of cories, and a pleco. I would suggest not using neons. I've heard black skirt tetras go well..

The contrast of Silver Dollars with Black Angels in a heavily planted tank makes a beautiful tank. If you wanted to add a third type of fish to that combo I would suggest Bleeding Heart Tetras.
