I just set up a new 50 gal tank and put 2 3" oscars, a 3" Texas Cichlid, a 3" Pacus, a pleco and some kind of catfish my girlfriend wanted....there are 2 good hollow roxks for the pleco and cat to hide in. Do you think they will be ok together?

Okay this set up will probally will not be worken in 4 months. Sorry to say but that is goin to get real bad in a few months. i wouldnt keep a single oscar in a 50 gal let alone 2. The texas would make a tight fit as an adult and a pecu will need a mim of 250 gal seeing as it will get to about 24-26 inches. depending on the catfish it might outgrow the tank as well. now depending on the personallities of the oscar, texas, and pecu there will probally be some fighting and probally a few dead fish unless they are all very mild. sorry for the bad news man but if u want to keep all of these fish u are goin to need a monster tank.

IF ITS A RED TAILED CATFISH THEY WILL GET EATEN WITHIN 2 -5 WEEKS BEACUSE IT CAN GROW. I HAVE ONE THAT ATE EVRYONE IN THE TANK AND IT WAS THE SAME SIZE IF UR CATFISH HAS A RED TAIL, HAS A BLACK BACK AND WHITE BELLY WHATCH OUT BEACUSE UR FISH ARE GOING TO BE KITYCAT FOOD.
