I got 2 bala's for mother's day and this morning I found one of them belly up on the bottom and then a few hours later the other one was belly up. Any body have any idea what might have happened?

Balas need big tanks, how big is yours?
Do you have a filter on the tank, and if so what kind? You also need to check your water parameters and make sure your ammonia levels aren't too high. Balas need hiding places and what else is in the tank? Were the balas the only fish that died?
