Hello, I currently have a 4" Clown Knife who is all alone in the tank, and i would like to get him some tankmates. I am concidering a Tiger Oscar or two. (Or something else, im open to helpful suggestions). But im not sure which way would promote LESS aggression. I dont want anything to happen to my Clown Knife. The Oscars im looking at are between 3" - 4". Anyone have experience with both of these fish? If i do get Oscars, should i only get one? or a pair? Thanks. IP: Logged |

Actually, an Arowana, Asian or South American (cheaper), really looks good with a Clown Knife. A third fish which would look good with that combination is a Tiger Shovelnose. IP: Logged |

Thanks kc5gvn, Another option ive been concidering is getting a few bala sharks in with my clown knife. Its really hard to decide which route would be best. Oscars, Arawana, or bala's. IP: Logged |

Remember that Oscars will grow much faster than the Knife and will end up killing it. I would suggest the Arowana and/or Balas. If you get Balas make sure they are larger than the Knife's mouth or he will have them for a snack. [This message has been edited by kc5gvn (edited 04-26-2003).] IP: Logged |
