Hello, I currently have a 4" Clown Knife who is all alone in the tank, and i would like to get him some tankmates. I am concidering a Tiger Oscar or two. (Or something else, im open to helpful suggestions). But im not sure which way would promote LESS aggression. I dont want anything to happen to my Clown Knife. The Oscars im looking at are between 3" - 4". Anyone have experience with both of these fish? If i do get Oscars, should i only get one? or a pair?

Thanks.

Actually, an Arowana, Asian or South American (cheaper), really looks good with a Clown Knife. A third fish which would look good with that combination is a Tiger Shovelnose.

Thanks kc5gvn, Another option ive been concidering is getting a few bala sharks in with my clown knife. Its really hard to decide which route would be best. Oscars, Arawana, or bala's.

Remember that Oscars will grow much faster than the Knife and will end up killing it. I would suggest the Arowana and/or Balas. If you get Balas make sure they are larger than the Knife's mouth or he will have them for a snack.
