I have a pacu in an 180 gallon tank who won't eat anything (he won't eat the cichlid pellets that all the other pacus eat). See, first his eyes got very cloudy to the point where he probably couln't see. Then, his tail (back fin) looked really shredded one day so I bought Furan 2 and treated him in a 10-gallong tank. The fins got better and his eyes cleared up some, but they are still kind of messed up. Now he is back in the 180 gallon tank & I haven't seen him eat. He almost seems to be trying to eat the rocks at the bottom of the tank or something. He goes down to the bottom of the tank and opens his mouth like he's trying to eat a rock or something in between the rocks. Is there any explanation for this behavior???? IP: Logged |
