hi i am getting ten red bellied prianhas in a week or so and they are going to be about an inch each, i was just wondering how to keep them alive cause i heard that they might eat eachother, i am just wondering if i keep food in there all the time if they will leave eachother alone

If you leave food in an aquarium all the time, then they will all die a sad death.
Ammonia will kill them. Ten pirhanas, you will need at least 2 - 100 gallon tanks or one really big tank. Feed them twice a day tops, only what they can consume in a few minutes.

Hello it would be good to look at what size of tank that you are going to be in because they will get big in a short time make sure that you get a long tank and for a 75 gallon it would be good to have about 4 piranhas in it well later.

if leave feeders in there they will not over eat. they will look fat but not over eat. they will just eat till they are no longer hungry. also 10 piranhas will need a big tank in about 1 year 70 should do for babys though.

well i know that i kept some food in my tank & now 1P has no tail.

& also they sell rbp at the stores,i just got 1. babies cost me 5.99 each
