ok i need help... still lol. Well here is the story.. i had a preg molly. And in my previous post i lied.. she was not a marble but a sunburst. Her belly was just white so yes i was wrong. Anyway.. i woke one morning (i dunno the date) but she was sitting at the bottom of her nursery(i decided to play it safe and go out and get one since no one had wrote back) well she was dead. I don't know what happend but i said oh well and i dumped out the water in the nursery into the tank and i left the filter and everything running cuz i was gunna get some more fish that week. well on new years day i went out and bought 1 girl and 2 male dalmation mollys with a girl and boy red velvet swordtail. Well i came home at about 7 today and there is this little fish swimming up and down in the corner of the tank and i look and there are several little babies under the rocks and stuff. Now i have a count of 10 baby mollys 2 male spotted(the female died 2 days ago) and my 2 red velvet ones. i think some babies were eaten and also the mom died during labor and that is why my count is so low. But please write me and help. i have my babyies in the nursery now and the adults are in the tank. i moved all the rocks around and double checked. so anyway is there anythign special i should know about how to keep my babies healthy?

hmn... you could separate swordtails coz they're suspected to eat others young. i think you should go with the ratio 2:1 meaning 2 female and 1 male. i have a hunch that the female died because of frustration.
