I recently set up a 10 gallon tropical fish tank. The fish (6 neon tetras) seem to be swimming near the bottom of the tank. Could this be because of the PH level or the temp of the water? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

You didn't say what kind of tetras they are. Generally speaking small tets stay near the bottom around plants.

I don't have a tropical fish tank, but I know with my fresh water fish that if they are on the bottom-their cold. Check the water temp. and see if your heater is staying regulated. Hope this helps!
