I have a 55 gal. tank with 2 pacus about 4 inches long and an albino oscar that is about the same size. Will these fish get along or will the oscar go after the pacus. But as of right now I have a tank divider in there to keep them seperated untill I get some advise. So please help me out and give me some advise. Thanks IP: Logged |

Read the other Pacu posts, you are headed for alot of trouble in that small 55 g. tank. [This message has been edited by Auspetian (edited 12-08-2002).] IP: Logged |

it has been my experience that they will get along just fine. i had 2 14" pacus and 2 14" oscars in the same tank and they got along fine. i got them all at different times so they didn't grow up together. i think they will be ok but you are going to get into trouble because your tank is too small for your fish. oscars get to be about 14" in a big enough tank, but pacus will get to about 24" if you keep them around long enough. both species grow pretty quick too. just something to think about.
