I've got a 30" community tank with cardinal tetras, clown loaches, silver sharks, guppies, platies, rainbowfish and bristlenose catfish. Could i put bumble-bee gobies in here. And how do breed them? It seems like no-knows how to! IP: Logged |

First, how big are your clown loaches? Bumble bee gobies usually are very small when you buy them from a pet shop. If they are close in size to the clown loaches they should do ok. Bumble Bee gobies need a little salt in their water also. They are closer to a brackish fish so they go well with mollies, but should do fine with what you have now. As far as breeding them, I think they are very hard to breed in a small tank. In a 29 gal. they might lay eggs if the temperature is correct but the hard part would be getting the eggs to hatch.
