I have a 2 gallon fish tank. Currently i only have 4 neons. How many fish would I be able to put in the tank with out overcrowding? Also, what species would be best? -Which would get along better? IP: Logged |

My answer would be 4 is a good amout for tetra, with a 2 galeon tank. You may be able to fit 5 without overcrowding. I am working on my own 10-50 galeon tanks of tropical fish including tetra. Glassfish also add a nice touch, but they take up room. per fish, 1 galon is needed. For your neons... since they are small, you can easily work with maybe 1/2 galon. If you need 5, dont do more than that. also dont put in a very aggresive fish, like from the shark species or a barb, and with such a small fish, neons wont work with bettas IP: Logged |
