Im not sure how accurate this is but I've heard that if you double their weight at 4 months old (for small dogs) this will give you an estimation of the weight they will be full grown. So if they are 4 months now and weigh 6-7 lbs. now.....you can estimate that they might weigh 12 - 14 lbs. full grown.

I've also heard tripling the weight at 12 weeks. I have 2 small dogs - a maltepoo who just turned 1 and a shih tzu/maltese mix who is 9-1/2 months old. If I had to guess based on my experience, I'd agree with Nern that your dogs will be about 12-13 pounds. Baxter was 6.6 pounds at 18-1/2 weeks and he's now full grown at 12.2 pounds.

thanks,

i heard double the weight at 12 months and add a pound or so for good measure.

it's so difficult, i guess.

i found a chihuahua chart that doubles their weight to full grown from 11 weeks.

but breeds are different, so...

i had no idea.
thanks again.
