Hello I have a question about my new poodle puppy that nobody seems to know the answer. She is adorable and she has very large ears that look like gremlin ears, and they stick straight up. They do not lay down. I want to make sure she is okay. She is full bred poodle. She was the smallest of the litter and she’s got the largest ears, 4 times the size of her sisters and brothers. We think she’s just special but someone mentioned ear problems are to do with their eating and may be a allergy. I would appreciate any help.
Thanks so much,
Kim Figueroa

I think maybe if you let the ear hair grow, that may help weigh them down. Is her hair very short on her ears.?

Dont worry about this
my 6 and a half month old Pur bred Havanese has that problem too. Our breeder said it will take somee time for the hair to grow to a full coat and weigh them down. Only with my dog,'radar' (He got the name 'cause of the ears) his ears are a major problem. he was suppossed to fly with me for a dog show in Calgary at the end of the month but he can't be shown BECASUE of those danr ears.

PS when we got Radar at 4months his ears were REALLY BAD but even 2 and a hlaf months later they've majorly improved.
THERE IS HOPE FOR THE RADARED EARED DOGS!
