I have a question. I heard that it is normal for a yorkie to have ears that stuck up. I have a 4month pup, and his ear falls flat down. Is this a problem? If not, how can i make his ear stuck up? thanks IP: Logged |

many breeds that have standing ears actually have flopped ears as young pups.. from my experience the ears begin to stand up between 4-8 months.. have you looked online at yorkie websites to see when their ears should begin to stand up? have you asked your vet about this? in my opinion i would give it time for the ears to stand the ear flopping down should not be a problem, if it remains flopped once the dog is an adult the only problem that may occur is ear infection.. but nothing serious will result from flopped ears..
