I own a Poodle named sasha. everyone on this forum goes nuts over their cute little ones. They can wrap you up onto their little toe and have you doing spins for them if your not careful. I have family in London myself.

I have a four month old Shih-Poo named Bandit. He started out to be mostly black and when we got him clipped he was mostly silver/gray with some cream here and there and black on the tips of the ears and tail. He seems to be very intelligent and fairly well behaved, for a puppy. One nice thing about him is that he doesn't shed.

I have been trying to determine what the pups would look like if you were to breed Shih-Poo to Shih-Poo instead of the cross between Shih-tzu and Poodle. I know that you would end up with perfectly lovable puppies, but would they be like the parents or have more characteristics of either a Shih-tzu or a Poodle rather than the combination? I would love to have the experience for my children to have little puppies from birth but I don't want three dogs running around, mostly because I don't want a Shih-tzu because I believe they shed. Is there anyone out there that can help me on this one?

Hi Tanya. I too have a new shi-poo. He is 8 weeks old and his name is Brody. He is solid black. He has white tips on his two back feet. He is a living doll. I call him my live beenie baby. His little tail curls up too. He waddles when he walks. I think this type of dog would be an excellent pet for you. They have all of the cuteness of a shitzu and the good personality and non-shedding of a poodle. I think you need to get one soon! You'll be so in love. I know I am. Other names I considered (for your information) was Peppy, Sparky; Andy; Toto; Rudy. I hope this helps.
