Scrappy, those are some cute puppies. How old is your lil poo. Are they all yours?

Darn I tried putting in the URL (properties) and nothing came up. Are your pictures set on JPG, or jpeg as they call it?

At the moment they are all mine.

It's an interesting thing. I'm not sure what will happen...

My wife and I have been dog walkers/pet sitters for years, my last dog, Ginger, a Sheltie, died 7 years ago, and then I didn't have time or space for a dog in my life, and gratefully, dog walking came along and I had many wonderful dogs in my life, who I still miss and think about. Later, my wife and I got a cat from the humane society, who fit our lifestyle and apartment.

When we moved to Florida from Massachusetts, we found a house where our cat could be outdoors safely, and I started working at a doggy day care while contemplating a dog walking service while getting my real estate license (which wasn't as much fun as being with dogs all day). Then my wife quit her corporate job and started a dog walking/pet sitting business full time, and then we met a couple who had started a cage free toy puppy boutique and weren't into running a business and wanted to breed instead. We loved their store, and the way the animals were treated, got to play all day without cages, and with so many people down here seeking out pets stores, and with the other alternatives around here being glassed in caged up pet stores, for the first time in years I felt like I was being shown exactly what to do with my life, regardless of whether I'd fail or not, and so we took over their mission which was to show the community that there is a better way to create unions between dogs and humans besides caged up glassed in pet stores.

Our boutique is a home, as much as any home, for these puppies and people visit our/their home to meet and play with them.

So, two weeks ago we opened, and since then we've been loving these puppies like our children. They play all day long with us, and our visitors, and the response has been overwhelmingly appreciative of what we're doing...

The flip side is that they are like our children, and children leave the nest, and I may cry. Still, we will always love these puppies and they will always have a home with us until I find the right person for each puppy and if it doesn't happen, I'll have a gaggle of wonderful companions for a long time. And if someone ever reaches a point in their life where they can't care for the dog, we'd take them back.

What helps my feelings of attachment is that I see how much these puppies love everyone, they are so well socialized, and I see how much others love them, so when the right match happens I trust they'll be as happy with someone else as they are with us.

Lil Poo is always in my thoughts, I may keep her. I've thought of keeping the Shit-Tzus since day one, who I love, but our cat frieked out when we brought them home and was mad for a week after we brought them to our boutique.

Right now Jupiter the little dachsund is at home with us, and the cat has been fine so far...

It's a beautiful experience, and soon, I imagine, it will be a lesson in letting go...

I'm hoping a friend takes the Maltese, but ultimately, I wouldn't let anyone take a puppy unless they became a friend through the time they spent with us.

I've thought about keeping them all, not sure what will happen, it's an experiment of love and life...

Wow, that sounds like a fun job. I just hope that you are doing some checking into the history of the breeders. For everyones sake. Now that you have explained the situation, I can understand how you have that many pups. I at first thought you just loved alot of breeds so got one of each. Working with animals is very rewarding. CAn you tell I love poodles.
