Has anyone been sorry or had a bad experience when they added a puppy to a household when they already had a dog? Any good experiences? Is it a good idea or not? IP: Logged |

Thanks so much to you who have replied to my question. The fence company just completed our backyard fence. My toy poodle is just over five pounds. Our neighbor's austrian shepherd (much larger in size) came over today and the two of them romped in the backyard and had a wonderful time. Though there may be some adjustments, I think he will like to have a companion. He loves children too. Yesterday our four-year-old neighbor came over with his parents. He and our poodle played and played and had a great time. I think they both slept well last night from the workout. He really loves the backyard. We have a gazebo, so we are spending quite a bit of time out there. Also, we have a lot of landscaping going on now that the fence is in. He likes to be in the middle of everything we are doing. Thanks again for your replies and understanding my nervous concerns. IP: Logged |
