I just wanted to see if anyone had any comments on the shelter in my area that is being sued for renting out animals to experimental groups? It's a state run shelter and the ASPCA has filed formal charges as well as seperate civil lawsuits by former employees. I can't believe that this was allowed to take place. Many of the former employees testifed that many of the dogs came back with there abdomin and chest shaved, the testimony from the on staff veterinarian said that they had never seen a group of animals all fall sick at the same time and not respond to any type of treatment, some of the animals were so week they could not even walk. How could someone that runs a shelter do this??? I'm so mad about this!!!!

Its greediness. I hope they all get whats coming to them. A person has got to be sick to take advantage of something that can not take care of itself. I hope all is taken care of and the former employees put them thru the coals.

I hope so too, I just was in shock when I read the article in the paper. And it's been going on for months. I looked on the website and the amount of evidence they have againts him is overwhelming. This guy is a monster, how could he sleep at night knowing he's supposed to be helping these animals.

Exactly, if he is this callused with pets, it would be insane living with him. I don't know how anyone can look into the eyes of an animal and hurt it. He probably thinks since he is not physically putting his hands on them that its not him doing it. I hope he rots in Jail or the other word.
