Hi Everyone, I have a question that hopefully someone will have some advice for. My Schnoodle Scooter (7 months old) loves rawhide. Whether it be large bone shaped types or small stick types, it doesn't matter, she devours it all. I'm not complaining, it keeps her busy and away from the furniture. But....I have noticed that she is putting on a little weight...normal?....maybe. Because she literally eats the rawhide, could it be that the rawhide is fattening her up? And how much is too much for her to eat?
Thanks for any advice....

She doesn't eat big chunks does she? If too big they can get logded in stomach or intestines. My neighbor know someone that had to have a piece surgically removed for the dogs anis. When you give them to you dog try to keep an eye on how big the pieces are. When mine get down to the end and its to big to knaw on I take it away.

Thanks for your responses.....I feed her Puppy Chow right now...I also take the small ends of the rawhide away from her. I think and I hope it might be the "green vegetable" milkbone cookies. So I won't give her anymore of those just to see if that is what it is. I will take a sample to the vet if it continues. By the way, I don't feed her "people" food at all.
