Can dogs get car sick? usually when you ask a dog if they want to go for a ride, in the car or whatever, they get excited!!! but whenever winnie is in the car, she just sleeps on the seat of she climbs on my lap and puts her head down. does this happen to anyone else? i feel bad taking her in the car because i feel like she gets car sick!!!

car rides probably just make her tired.if it makes her sick she probably wouldn't get so exited when you tell her she's going bye bye.

That doesnt sound out of the norm. Alex isn't a big car rider, mostly cause I dont take him to to many places. He is in his carrier to be safe from accidents, but he usually sleeps also.

They sure can get car sick. If I feed sasha and bring her for a ride within an hour or two after eating by the time we are done with the ride she will 9 times out of 10 throw up. So I have to get her out fast. She also will try to snuggle up to me or lay on the other chair seat. Never does she try to jump around and gaze out the window like some dogs doo, (other dog does).
