For my poodle, not alot. But pretending you have a cute little kitty in your arms, She goes nuts. And I don't let her chase real kitties. I would never let her hurt anything living. I am sorry. My poodle is so calm all the time that its the only thing can do to get her to act a little nutty. She won't try to chase a cat if it doesn't run. My bosses cat outweighs her by at least 12 lbs. She met him, they sniffed noses and she went the other way. Probably becasue she knew he could hurt her. Same thing with my sisters cat. She has a poodle too. She wanted him to run but he was not afraid of her so she ignored him. But really I always have her leashed and she never hurt anything. Please don't get mad for me saying this. I was just wondering what gets your dog in a tizzy?

what gets my dog in a tizzy is when someone comes over my house as soon as he hears the knock on the door he just freaks out. lol he gets so crazy that i can't even hold him to calm him down. he just loves people and he thinks that everyone is supposed to pay attention to him.i guess it's because he's so spoiled.

Its probably because he has not met any human that has been bad to him. My poo rushes the door but in a quiet manner. Then you still have to warn the person not to touch her too much and listen for her growl. She lets them know when she does not want to be touched. My other dog Rufus thinks he is the welcome wagon. At the dog parks he will always go and greet any new dog that comes also the same with people. If I am not careful he will jump up against someones car. I can't have that. O r have him jump into someone cardoor if its open.

he doesn't growl at anyone he just thinks everyone should give him all the attention.just like your rufus he thinks he's the welcome wagon.he's a poo too so he's small but he just gets so exited it's hard to keep him from jumping on someones lap when they sit down.i have to put him in his crate to keep him off of them. and he was only 8 weeks when we got him so he hasen't had any bad experiences with any humans.i'm happy about that because he's a very trusting puppy.and he just loves everyone.

Harley gets in a tizzy when Sherman, our corgi mix, gets her chewie. Harley thinks all the toys, all the chewies, all the food, etc, should be hers. If Sherman wants to tease her he knows if he snatches up her chewie and heads for the door it drives her nuts. she will get in his face and yip at him over and over until he drops it. and he always does drop it, hes very tolerant of her. he's 7 and shes almost a year old now. he had some adjusting to do when Harley moved in but i think he loves her just like the rest of us.

I think peopel get genuinely jeoulous when they came across someone that has a dog that has such a good disposition. Many people tell me they want to take Rufus home. If they were to open their car door he would jump right in. Not always a good thing. He will walk right into anyones home too.
LUVPUP: Its so easy to to let the tinier dogs get away with things isn't it. I can never get mad at my poodle, even when she is acting downright *itchy. Those eyes just melt me.
JJAMI: Thats funny, I saw on animal planet how the dogs will fake swim even before you put them in the water. Its a riot. My dogs would prefer never to take a bath. My terrier used to freak out every bath time, he is much calmer now.

puttin i definitely think you're right about people wanting to take home a dog with a good disposition.. bella is amazing, she understands when it's play time and when it's not.. she loves everyone and will go to sleep in anyones arms.. my uncle who used to talk bad about dogs threatens to take bella home every time he visits.. everyone i know has offered to doggysit her whenever i need and even adopt her!! the only thing that gets bella in a tizzy is seeing nail clippers coming near her, as long as i am discreet about it she'll let me clip but if she sees them she'll try to climb up over me and tries to sit on my shoulders like a parrot would

HAha just had to post this! My mom's yorkshire terrier was barking at something in our pantry the other day. It turned out to be a potatoe that was on the floor! LOL So me and my mean streak > I chased her around witht he potatoe... But then I kissed and rubbed her lol. And later that night I could make my hand like I was holding a potatoe and say "potatoe" and she would go curl up to my mom....She is soo funny. And also, my aunt's toy poodle hates CAMERAS! Even if you jsut say the word she hides! Weird eh? She is a sweety though.

lol ATTACK OF THE POTATOES how sweet.max he loves our camera the strange thing is that he seems to pose when we act like we're gonna take his pic. i've never seen anything like it before.and baths he 's happy and ready to go.when i tell him it's time to take a bath.i'll take him in the bathroom and he even stands up on the tub to watch the water run but when i put him in he wants out.i think maybe he's not sure if he likes it or not lol.and yes puttin it is easy to let him get away with things and he can be rotten sometimes but no matter how rotten he gets i can't get mad at him.it's just that cute little face and he knows how to make me melt.he'll just give me that i'm cute look and tilt his little head.it works every time and he knows it.

Aww, that was a funny potatoe story. Now all you have to do is cook one. Then tell little yorkie potatoe, then MMmmm yum yum, then eat some. He will never be afraid of tators again. You whats funny when my poo is trying to be bossy and gives a growl to my boys, they will tell on her her and she gives me this look like she is saying I did not. Then comes running to me.

My poodle Angel gets in a tizzy when I get the laundry out of the dryer. She loves the smell of clean clothes. She will rub her face all over my laundry. And if I dont watch her she will jump in the laundry basket with a smile on her face. Her favorite thing is the clean blankets she goes under them and gets all tied up in the middle and just lays on her back and kicks her legs. She is a clown sometimes! There has not been a day gone by since I have had Angel that I dont smile! Isnt it wonderful!
