I wouldn't say that they are horrible looking but they have definately been bred wrong, maybe with english staffys to give them a more pumped up and "tough" look. That would also account for their smaller size. Otherwise they may have been pumped with steriods, either way the owners have bred their dogs totally unlike pitbulls that use their size and strength for bull baiting ect I really could not see these dogs pulling down bulls, chasing hogs and fighting without collapsing under their heavy weight. They would surely die of doggy heart attacks.

More victims of bad breeders!!

that was my take on it aswell. the thing that i noticed was how their legs bowed out. i've never seen a pits legs bow out like that, to that much of an extreme. that's what made me think that they were maybe mixed with an english bulldog somewhere along the way.
