I was told that if a pit bull bites you it locks its jaw and it wont open up unless you kill it, is that true or a rumor?

No this is a stupid myth that has no facts to back it up. The pit ulls jaw can not lock. they are strong yes however they dont lock them.

No, an APBT's jaw is the same as that of any other dog. And going by a child's logic (often the most sensible and least complicated), if it could lock, then why wouldn't each dog come with a key??

pitbulls lock their mind, not their jaws. They are so intent by nature that they just decide they arent letting go and thats it!

Killing a dog does nothing to release the jaws. They don't "lock" the dog chooses not to let go. Even if you kill some dogs they are still hanging on.
