Make sure you correct him. Also when he does his business inside, put it outside that way when he sniffs around outside he will find it. Hopefully that might help out. Also you might want to leave him outside longer than usual. Give him more time. I hope this helps you out. Goodluck!

i have a six month old female and i'm having the same problem, she potty's outside but hardly ever goes #2.....it is so frustrating!! she always does it in the bathroom right next to the toilet. it's like she thinks she's a little person.

Maybe you should buy some puppy pads. Put it next to the toilet where she goes. And when she starts going on that.. slowly move the puppy pad closer and closer to the door each day. Take your puppy out on a leash and stay out a little longer, or maybe take the pup for a walk. Once the pup goes #2 outside, they usually go in the same spot each time. So try the same spot after your pup goes #2 outside. Try that. Hope it works. Goodluck!
