Pit bulls are not for the amataur dog owner,If that dog is not properly trained by a dominant owner, you are going to end up with a dog who chews up everything, and barks, and possibly even bites and it will end up the being one of the thousands put down in shelters every year.I know what im talking about, ive had over 20 pits in my day and found that they are smarter, but more stubborn and destructive than the average dog.Do NOT get a pit just because they look tough,or because everyone has one.Read a book about pitbulls before getting one, seriously!

See this time.. I completely agree with ignergehl (sp??) however, the only thing that I have to say is that it is not just with Pit Bull's, it is every single dog in the world. You can't expect to get it and not dominate and take controlof the training and think it will train itself because you will end up with everythign the ignergehl explained.. Good posting ign!
