I have a male pit named chopper style, and he's 4 months old. everytime i take him riding in the car he gets sick and ( well you know what that means). could anyone tell me what i could do or give him for this. thanks IP: Logged |

Maybe you should take him for a ride when he has empty stomach that way nothing can come up... maybe he just needs to get used to it. I never had that problem with my pit.. she loves to go for rides! Goodluck.. hope someone can give you better advice! lol IP: Logged |

He's still young so you might be able to help him overcome this. Start over: Make your trips short. Even if it is just around the block...baby steps for the baby. Eventually take him on longer trips, take breaks every once in a while and give him a potty break, and some fresh air. My Amstaff wasn't to keen on car rides when we first got him (Age 2), we used the method I described- he now can be in the car all day- literally. He is a traveler. He sits like a regular passenger, and can fall asleep on long rides easier than my wife! Good luck. IP: Logged |
