I took the pup to the vet yesterday and he seems to be OK the vet said he would be fine. I was just wondering if anyone who has done this before had any pointers? He's 13 days old today.Any information would be appreciated.

Pitmom-- I have raised them at that age by hand and it is a job and a half. All I can say is do a lot of research and once the pups gets about four to five weeks start socializing it alot.. you are going to have to do a lot of work where he/she is the only pup.. but I am sure you'll be fine.. I am sure you know the feeding schedule and all. At about 3 1/2 to four weeks old start introducing puppy formula soft food.. not much though, even just a spoonful twice a day.. you can email me offlist.. hafkel@hotmail.com and we can communicate through it all.
