Just found this place through a link on another board... here's my 9 yr old rescue dog, Goo.

I reaaly like the second picture of Goo.He is a very beautiful dog.He looks like he is a very smart dog.You can almost tell excatly what he is thinking by the look on his face.I think that is so cool.

Russ, are you sure Thor isn't part American Bulldog? Something about him in that picture just makes me think AB... maybe not though. He's a handsome boy though.

Question to all,

Looking at the pictures here i see noticeable differences in the looks of various APTB types.

Could someone elaborate. Eg. Russ's pit looks very different to the other types (much larger, round face etc.).

It would be interesting to learn more about the various types under the APTB category.

Yes goob, Thor is 1/2 American bulldog 1/2 Amstaff.

Albert,
Thors head is larger because of the Ambull. I just classify him as a pitbull because they are all from the same bloodlines when you go back far enough. They also have alot of the same traits in both breeds. Or my dogs could be classified under bull breeds.

apbt can range from 30lb to over 100, I think that the average weight is about 35-65lbs tho.

P.S. just so everyone knows Duke..is 1/2 American Bull Dog and 1/2 APBT....just as Russ pointed out...these dogs all come from the same blood line and were used in the same manner back in the day. Recently here in Kelwona BC people have purpousley started mixing the APBT with the Bull dog because they discovered it to be a better mix with less dog aggression (striclty dogs fighting dogs...not the same as dog aggression towards humans this trait was never part of the APBT nor the Americna Bull dog. Can't wait for everyone to see him He will look very similar to Russ's dog.

Try any place that hosts photos, geocities won't. You have to right click on the photo and select properties, copy it, and paste it with the img tag for it to show up.

Hi all..

This is one of my dogs...
He is now 15 weeks old...
He love to play with the others, and is a real photo modell..... ;-)
He is a pure honeybunch/Jeep dog. He look a bit different than my other dogs who are snooty and redboy/jocko dogs.

The next one is a snooty/redboy/patrick dog.
He look more like an Am.Staf. He is 5 years old.
