hello again everybody. just a quick question. how do you stengthen your bond with your puppy. when i call her she will come to me (10 wk old aussie) but only to let me pet her then she takes right back off again doing whatever. like she has doggy A.D.D. does anybody know how you make her your best friend. i love on her and give her a lot of positive attention but it seems like she isnt sure who owns her sometimes. any signs i should be looking for to tell how much your dog likes you. just curious. Awwww...relax first off, she's 10 weeks old of course she acts like she has ADD. If you are feeding her, training her, playing with her and loving on her you will be her whole world in short order and you will be desperately seeking moments of peace and tranquility. The bonding happens over a period of time and with Aussies, that tends to be an extremely short period of time! Imagine being a puppy and being surrounded by a million and one things you have never seen or smelled before, these all have to be explored don't ya know. Just keep being the good dad you are and she will soon be making you nutty by smothering you with affection. IP: Logged |
